Unforgettable Views, Mountains, Coastline & Sunsets Await at Coast & Country House

Clonaslee Country House is situated in 5 acres of landscaped gardens nestled into the verdant Ulster countryside. The house is completely private with panoramic views of the coast and countryside.

Every room has uninterrupted views of either the Irish coastline, the mountains or the landscaped gardens & tennis courts, merging seamlessly into the countryside.

Brilliant red and orange sunsets are often seen over the hills of Donegal to the west. On clear days looking eastwards the coast of Scotland and the islands of Jura and Islay are viewed twinkling in the Atlantic Ocean. The only surety of the Irish coastline is that it will look different in an hour's time. If you enjoy sea views, this house is for you!

Testimonials From Our Guests

Whilst returning from a recent business trip in early March I decided to spend a few extra days and amble around the Causeway coast On a recommendation given I discovered Clonaslee, a quiet, substantial property with superb facilities set over two levels very well appointed, every window has a view, it is well maintained and spotlessly clean, the ideal location for exploring the coast. Each morning I was staying at the property I was drawn to the windows of the first floor lounge and with a cup of coffee spent some time admiring the views of the sea not to far away, a great way to start the day. I love walking, one of my favourite pastimes and was spoilt for choice with what the surrounding area had to offer, I spent three leisurely days walking along the coast, taking in some of the iconic locations, Dunluce Castle, Downhill and Giant’s Causeway, all within a few miles drive. Returning to Clonaslee (also called coastandcountryhouse on the website) in the evening, there was a nice log fire and a glass of Bushmills, idyllic. I loved the area and especially the accommodation I will definitely return sometime in the future.

Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at your magnificent Home. The Home is so spacious, modern and sparkling clean set amongst the most incredibly beautiful gardens and countryside I have seen anywhere in the world. The location is first class, so close to ALL the attractions of the North Coast including the Giants Causeway. I cannot recommend this property more highly to anyone coming to Northern Ireland wanting true authentic 5 Star accommodation.

Beautiful home and well laid out. We hosted dinner in the stunning dining room for our family. The views of the hills and towards the sea, a delight. Wandering around the lovely gardens and sitting enjoying nature with a tea. Bliss. Wonderful Birthday weekend.

Lorraine Sherrard, West Sussex, England - March 2024

"We stayed in Clonaslee House for 8 days in August and we absolutely loved it. The house is spacious, full of character, full of light and has anything you may need including a tennis court. You are surrounded by sea view on one side, cows on the other and sheep down the road. There's lots of flowers, a pond with water lilies and a cute donkey too. Best of all was the host - he is totally awesome and helped us a lot in finding our way around the area. We will definitely go back soon."

Lauren

"Our family of three and friends stayed at Heather's properties. The furnishings in the house are very warm and comfortable. Each room has a double bed, brand new kitchen facilities and utensils. Heather and her husband were very warm and thoughtful and gave us a lot of Tips. We wanted to play poker in the evening, and they brought a new deck on purpose, along with some other games for us to choose from. The restaurant was closed for Christmas, so we had to cook at home and Heather brought olive oil and coffee. The location of the house is also very good, free parking, and it is very convenient to drive from the attractions. We had a wonderful and comfortable 4 days here and hope to have the opportunity to stay in the future"

Cunjing

"The house is large and nice, comfortable and decorated with a lot of style. The very quiet place."

Juan

The location is superb, with seven golf courses just a few minutes drive away including the world famous Royal Portrush, host of The Open! Numerous beaches to walk your pets or surf and swim, allied with multiple excellent eateries along the entire north coast makes this an ideal spot to enjoy the scenery and filming locations of the hit TV series Game of Thrones! If you are looking for a perfect getaway for a few days, the charming host Heather will make your stay an absolute dream, can’t wait to go back! 5*"
